The Most Certified Roof Spacer On The Market

JClip-CloseupThe J-CLIP roof spacer has been tested and successfully passed non-cyclonic wind pressure conditions at the ENG TEST Facility at the Adelaide University, in accordance with the following Australian Standards:

  • AS 4040.2: 1992 – Methods of testing sheet roof and wall cladding
Resistance to wind pressures for non-cyclone regions
  • AS 1562.1: 1992 – Design and installation of sheet roof and wall cladding
    Part 1: Metal

The results of the non-cyclone wind pressure test demonstrated that the use of the J-CLIP roof spacer will not affect the performance of concealed-fixed roof sheeting profiles for construction in non-cyclonic areas. The testing was conducted with steel supports of 1.5 mm thickness.

The J-CLIP roof spacer has been tested successfully passed Low High Low Cyclonic Testing at the ENG TEST Facility in accordance to the following Australian Standards:

  • AS 4040.0: 1992 – Methods of testing sheet roof and wall cladding
Part O: Introduction, list of methods and general requirements.
  • AS 4040.3: 1192 – Methods of testing sheet roof and wall cladding
Method 3: Resistance to wind and pressures for cyclone region.

The J-CLIP roof spacer has been designed in accordance with BCA 2010 Cyclonic Design requirements for both pierced fixed and concealed roofing systems and can be installed in all Australian wind regions excluding Region D.
